Cook Island dives

April 1, 2012

After a summer of bad weather and scheduling conflicts I finally got a chance to dive Cook Island off the Tweed Coast in northern NSW.

I haven't been diving at this site in several years so I was keen to see if the turtle sanctuary was as good as I remember. It was a great two dives with blue water, calm conditions and a milky but blue 15-20metres visibility.

Here's a short video from the dive:

On the second dive I focused on taking photos of the resident green turtles, including a small one that was missing its back left flipper.
